Meet your Certified Flight Instructor

A man with dark hair, sunglasses, and a mustache stands outdoors at sunset, holding a water bottle and adjusting his sunglasses. He is dressed in a white shirt and a black vest, with a camera strap around his neck, in a parking lot with industrial buildings and trees in the background.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I’m an Air Force veteran currently serving in the Air National Guard, having previously served on active duty from February 2012 to February 2022.

I began my military career in Security Forces before transitioning into the role of Occupational Safety and Health Manager. Aviation was always around me—from guarding aircraft on the flight line to inspecting the maintainers responsible for keeping those aircraft safe and operational.

After separating from active duty, I attended a Part 141 flight school in Phoenix, Arizona, where I completed my professional flight training.

I believe that anyone can become a pilot through hard work, discipline, and dedication. My passion for aviation continues to push me to improve, and I’m committed to helping my students achieve their goals in the sky.

Whether you are taking your first discovery flight, working toward your private pilot certificate, or pursuing advanced ratings, I will be there to guide and support you throughout the process.

I have never failed a checkride, and my goal is to provide you with the knowledge, preparation, and confidence needed to succeed on yours. While no instructor can guarantee a checkride result, I will make sure you are thoroughly prepared before I recommend you.

Safety is always my top priority, and I bring my military and occupational safety experience into every lesson and every flight.

What Makes My Training Different?

Flight training should be structured, organized, and focused on steady progress—not simply logging hours.

To provide my students with a more efficient training experience, I developed a flight-training application that helps manage the entire learning process in one place.

Through the app, students can:

  • Schedule and manage flight lessons

  • Track completed lessons and training progress

  • Maintain organized training records

  • Follow a structured flight-training syllabus

  • Review lesson objectives and areas that need improvement

  • Stay better prepared between flights

The syllabus creates a clear path from your first lesson through checkride preparation. Instead of wondering what comes next, you will always know what you are working on, why it matters, and what you need to accomplish before moving forward.

This organized approach helps reduce unnecessary repetition, improves communication between the student and instructor, and supports faster, more consistent development.

My goal is not only to help you earn a pilot certificate. My goal is to help you become a safe, knowledgeable, confident, and capable pilot.
